Customer Services Representative

POSITION SUMMARY: Assist customers in opening and closing accounts, change customer’s personal information, add signers, Internet banking, provide statement copies, check order, and check copy. Order checks and ATM/debit cards. Responsible for savings bonds, balance transfers, stop payments, etc. Regulate returns, check books, deposit slips, and stamps.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
• Check System Report
• Report for COD balance
• Wire transfer
• Overdraft close (send letters/OD close/Chex System)
• Send notices for CD renewal, SDB payment, ACH confirmation, stop payment, etc.
• Input unauthorized POS transactions into Concord System, fax, file, follow and give temporary credit to customer, if POS was credited to the customer, finalize
• Open and close Jumbo CDs
• Balance EE bonds
• Check Retirement Reporting Module for any exceptions
• Check Money Access Fraud Alert Report
• Order starter sets from Harland
• Collections
• Notarize documents
• Send interest to GA Bar Foundation
• Dormant account review and management
• Interest checks administration – back-up
• Operation of SDB account: Past-due safe deposit box report review; reconcile safe deposit box key deposit account; file safe deposit box customer files
• Operation of return item: Process return items and send out notice letters; receive large return notices and place holds; contact customers regarding large return and return items
• Business analysis charge

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
• High school diploma or GED
• Bilingual in Chinese/Korean and English
• One (1) plus years of related experience preferred
• Superior Customer service skills
• General Math skills
• Detail orientated and able to function in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear, and consistent
